In vitro test systems
Our in vitro (cell-based) test systems provide reliable and efficient models to assess the biological activity of your product candidates. These assays can be used to screen potential candidates, identify mechanisms of action, evaluate dose-range effects in terms of cytotoxicity and efficacy, and optimize your lead compound. In addition, we perform differentiation assays such as trilineage differentiation test. Our models can be adapted in basal or inflamed conditions (IL-1β, TNFα, LPS, IFNγ).

Our Expertise
Screening studies
They allow us to test all of your candidates in development (or mix of them) for a specific activity (anti-inflammatory, anti-catabolism or pro-anabolic properties) and select the promising one to go further into non clinical development.
Dose-range studies
They play a crucial role in drug development, helping us understand the safe and effective dose spectrum of your compounds. These studies are the cautious first steps on the path toward clinical testing.
Cytotoxicity studies
Used to evaluate the toxicity of your compounds on cell health and viability.
Mechanism of action studies
Characterizes the interaction of a compound with its target to understand how natural substrates at several concentrations will modulate this activity.
Differentiation studies
Allows us to evaluate the capacity of your compound to improve cell (MSC) differentiation towards a specific lineage (chondrocytes, adipocytes, osteoblasts)
Immunogenicity study
Allows us to evaluate the capacity of your compounds (or derivatives) to generate immune responses (PBMCs) or immunologically related adverse clinical events.
