Responsibilities

The role of Junior Sales Representative is a critical role for the growth of the Company. The Junior Sales Representative will be responsible for maximizing our ELISA Kits sales revenues through the development of direct customer accounts with existing and new customers. There is considerable potential to grow our current market share worldwide with both new and existing customer accounts. The growth will come both for geographical expansion and from developing our sales networks in existing markets. The target customers are Academicians, Research Institutes, Hospitals, R&D…

Main Tasks:
 
  • Market Research and lead qualification
  • Contact with potential customers
  • Meeting with potential customers (mailing, calling, or face-to-face)
  • You will be responsible for your own deals including negotiation and closing, but you will receive all the support and training you need in the process.
  • Maintains contact with all customers in the international market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • You must work to develop and maintain international business contacts.
  • You will develop key relationships with international customers.
  • You will have to collaborate with the Biomarkers Division to find the best solutions for your customers.
  • You will achieve pre-defined international sales targets.
  • You will have to provide timely feedback to the Global Marketing and Sales Director regarding the sales performance. if necessary, you will propose new strategies to improve your sales performances.
  • You must be aware of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales.
  • You will adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

Profile

  • Bachelor degree in Sales Management or life sciences (biochemistry, chemistry, biology…)
  • Demonstrate a scientific interest
  • Excellent level of French and English (both spoken and written). Dutch or any other language is a serious asset.
  • Experience in working with CRM systems, CMS and business software preferred.
  • The successful candidate shall be energetic, proactive, and hungry to learn and gradually take on bigger challenges.
  • Customer oriented and organized
  • The candidate must have a natural ability to engage in business relationships with individuals and groups and a desire to improve these talents.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills required to excel in an international sales environment.
  • The position will require to meet your clients. Driving license and a personal car is a plus to travel within the BENELUX area, France and Germany.

Located in Liège (Belgium), Artialis SA is innovative and dynamic Biotech company specializing in the development and validation of biomarkers specific to muscular and articular disorders such as sarcopenia and osteoarthritis. These biomarkers allow, among other things, to follow the evolution of a disease and the effectiveness of a treatment. Part of Artialis SA's strategy is to market these kits under the CE marked In Vitro Diagnostic format (CE-IVD).
