Preclinical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

With a reputation for transparency, flexibility and highly focused on being able to deliver with excellence, Artialis is looking for a preclinical Laboratory technician. He/She will be responsible of realizing laboratory experiments for the preclinical team.

Main Tasks:
  • Perform ELISA, Western-Blot, qPCR experiments according to SOPs
  • Culture cell lines and primary cells
  • Ensure preparation and shipment of the material required for preclinical studies
  • Ensure that test results are properly encoded with double check and manage documents of the study
  • Histological sectioning (paraffin) and macroscopical examinations of tissue samples
  • Ensure to review/prepare SOP or documentation regularly
  • Maintenance of laboratory equipments and stock keeping
  • Ensure a follow-up of the raw-material and complete purchase order for preclinical studies
  • Data analysis and evaluation, monitoring of assay performance and troubleshooting

Profile

  • Bachelor in Life Sciences or closely related fields
  • Past experience as Technician (Biotech / Pharma/ Academic) in standard Lab techniques (ELISA, Western Blot, qPCR) and culture of primary/ cell lines
  • Good Knowledge of GLP
  • Felasa B is a plus
  • Past experience in Histology/ immunohistochemistry/ immunofluorescence is a plus
  • Fluent in French (written and spoken), English (written)
  • Driving license with own car
